Imperium Negotiations LLC was founded by Jan Potgieter, a globally recognized negotiation strategist and consultant who has spent over 23 years helping executives, leadership teams, and business owners close high-value deals, optimize procurement, and dominate high-stakes negotiations.


Jan developed the Imperium Negotiation Methodology, a battle-tested, results-driven approach that helps leaders increase profitability, accelerate deal timelines, and secure long-term strategic wins.


Jan isn’t a theorist—he’s a practitioner with real-world results, having personally advised or negotiated over $4 billion in commercial deals. His expertise spans across private and public sectors, having worked with some of the biggest global brands, including Adidas, Vodafone, Pfizer, IBM, and more.
